Kajukenbo with Joshua L.

Hi, there! My name is Joshua and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching martial art private lessons since 2005 and have loved helping my students learn who they are, practice and learn an effective martial art, and change their lives. Founded in 1947, Kajukenbo means KARATE, JUDO/JU-JITSU, KENPO, CHINESE BOXING. I am a 3rd generation Kajukenbo Black Belt and a 2nd generation Ramos Black Belt. I am a 2010 World Champion in tournament point fighting and have won countless awards. I am a professional tournament referee for forms and fighting. I teach Kajukenbo with a twist of Wing Chun and Gung-Fu and basic escrima (stick fighting). The best part about teaching martial arts, in my opinion, is helping another find who they are, what they can accomplish, breaking limitations, and confidence. I'm an energetic and goal-orientated person and my teaching style is direct, adaptable, and fun. I look forward to helping you reach your goals!
