    I'm a classical saxophonist and music educator. I'm also a Conn-Selmer artist and play Selmer Paris saxophones exclusively! I hold a BM in Music Education from Susquehanna University and MM in Saxophone Performance from Georgia State University My teachers include Gail Levinsky, Jan Berry Baker, and Frederick L. Hemke. I have appeared in performances throughout the United States and presented and performed at regional and national North American Saxophone Alliance and National Association for Music Education conferences. My playing has received accolades, described by renowned conductor Tim Reynish as, “…extremely sensitive dynamically, with a beautiful sound.” I've also had success in competitions for solo and chamber playing, including the Susquehanna University Concerto Competition, Thomas M. Brumby Concerto Competition, Great Composers Competition Series, Georgia State Honors Competition, GMTA Chamber Winds Competition, and ENKOR International Chamber Music Competition. In addition to my pursuits, I have performed with the SUSQ Quartet and Akira Quartet. I currently perform with Chiaro Trio, an Atlanta-based chamber ensemble dedicated to new music for piano, clarinet, and saxophone. As an advocate for new music, I actively collaborate with emerging and established composers and regularly commissions and premieres new music for the saxophone. I have been a featured performer as part of SoundNOW, Atlanta’s premiere contemporary music festival. My recent projects include new commissioned works by composers Marc Mellits, Matthew Quayle, Royal Teague, and Coleman Rowlett, as well as recording projects for Kenneth Stewart and Stephen Wood. I'm also dedicated music educator with a rich profile of educational experience. My passion for music education extended to a residency in Faenza, Italy through the Susquehanna University GO Program, where I observed Italian music instruction and researched ear training pedagogy. I have has appeared in masterclasses, clinics, and performance settings at public school districts throughout Georgia and Pennsylvania. I have also offered chamber music experiences and held long-term residencies at Bloomsburg, Fairfield, Ola, and Selinsgrove area school districts.

    The North American Saxophone Alliance is an organization made up of individuals who share a common interest in the saxophone. Members include professional performers, university professors, public school teachers, students of all levels, and others who have an interest in the saxophone. In addition to the Alliance's emphasis on disseminating information concerning the saxophone, the organization also works to provide opportunities for its members to make music, fostering fellowship among saxophone enthusiasts of all ages and backgrounds.
