    I am a seasoned piano and voice instructor, with ten years teaching experience, offering in home lessons. During high school and college, I studied piano and pedagogy with Helen Smith Tarchalski, a graduate of the Peabody Institute and student of both Leon Fleisher and Fernando Laires, through whom I share a direct student/teacher line to Beethoven and Chopin, respectively. Over the course of my undergraduate degree at Towson University I also studied vocal pedagogy under Phillip Collister, and studied privately under grammy award winning tenor Aaron Sheehan. I hold advanced degrees in voice performance, music history, chamber music, and historical keyboards from the Longy School of Music of Bard College, where I studied with harpsichordist/fortepianist Vivian Montgomery and countertenor Ian Howell.
