    About Joshua B.

I am a professional musician and instructor at the collegiate level. I hold three degrees in music with vocal/choral concentrations including a doctorate in choral conducting with a vocal pedagogy related field. I have taught voice at the high school and collegiate levels. I have several years of experience directing musicals and operas and enjoy working with voice students on music of varying styles from classical to Broadway and pop. I prioritize establishing a strong technique that allows singers to perform with confidence and freedom. I also have experience preparing students in the Texas All-State Choir process as well as Solo and Ensemble Contests. I have helped students as they work on college scholarship audition repertoire. Whatever their goals, I work diligently with my students toward excellence. I am flexible with scheduling as needed. I like lessons that are fun, engaging and positive while supporting my students toward success!
