Piano with Joshua A.

I am a Nashville-based musician and record producer, originally from just north of Chicago in Gurnee, IL. I began my musical journey at the early age of three. My parents recount me banging on pots and pans before I could speak, so they placed me in piano lessons at three years old and drum lessons simultaneously at four. Throughout High School, while remaining in classical piano lessons, I played percussion in the top Symphonic Band, piano and drum set in Jazz Ensemble, led my drum line as the center snare, and even helped start my school’s first ever indoor marching percussion program. At the age of 16, I also was introduced to music production software which solidified my love for the creative process of music. With my mixed musical upbringing, I developed an understanding and feel for almost any genre or style, and love to blend them all! This led me to Belmont University where I spent two years studying the music business, playing shows, creating music, and honing in on my skills. In 2017, I dove into my production and teaching career. Through organic growth I accumulated a few in-home private lesson students, as well as a small client base for production work. I now function as a contract producer, and private lessons instructor. I have personal students and I also teach out of Nashville's excellent Roots Academy. I am also the Music Director at my church, The Chapel at Antioch. My greatest desire as a teacher is for students to develop a strong passion and joy for music as a launching pad for all of their musical endeavors.
