Ever since I can remember, I've been listening to, and playing music. My Mom's side of the family is very musical. I can remember watching my Mom at the piano practicing and singing, and going to see my two uncles playing top 40's and latin jazz music at coffee shops and fancy restaurants. My parents have old family videos of me banging on my little tricycle with toothbrushes like a drum set at the age of 4. I definitely had the music bug. By age 8, I was taking my first drum lessons alongside my older brother. And by age 9, my brother was showing me my first chords on acoustic guitar. It's been non-stop ever since!

I truly love teaching. I have such a passion for music, and if I can spark that passion for music in someone else, whether they're age 5 or 55, I'm doing my job! I've had the privilege of having some amazing musical teachers and mentors in my life growing up, and hopefully I can be one of those people for my students. I've been performing for live audiences in different bands for the past 18 years. Along the way, I've made 6 albums, toured the world, and had the privilege of being signed to a record label. The music of my group Shachah, which I currently playing guitar and sing back-up vocals for, can be found on iTunes and in stores nationwide.

My style of teaching is hands-on and practical. I want to get you playing music as quickly as possible. Playing music that you love, and music that will you keep you going back to your instrument to practice day in, and day out. My teaching styles range from pop, rock, funk, hip-hop, reggae, country, and soul. I've been teaching guitar and drums for many years, and have been so blown away by the progress of my students. I don't want you to be playing music for a few months, I want you be playing music for many years to come.

Thanks so much for stopping by my page and taking the time to get to know me a little better. I hope to meet and teach you soon!

Keep it funky,

I tell my students all the time, that all I want is your best! If I feel I'm getting that from you, then I'm happy. Everyone learns at a different pace, but if your practicing through the week, and taking the pointers I give you, I promise we will get to your personal goals and my goals for you as your teacher. I take teaching very seriously, and I'm very invested in my students. You are not just another face on another instrument. It means much more to me than that. I'm looking to impart everything I've learned over the years to you. Everything I got is yours!
