Guitar with Josh M.

My name is Josh, and I am a professional guitarist living in Los Angeles. I have been teaching for about 8 years, and I enjoy teaching students of all ages and abilities. I have a Bachelors in Music from Buffalo State College, a Masters in Music from the University of Southern California, and Professional Studies Diploma from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and I am currently earning my Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Southern California. All of my degrees are in Classical Guitar, and within my degrees I have taken classes in theory, composition, performance skills, improvisation, music history, etc. Basically playing music is my life and I feel that teaching is an extension of that. I have taught at music stores, privately, in a high school, and summer music camps, which has exposed me to all ages. Although my degrees are in classical guitar, when I started guitar at the age of 10, I was all about rock, and my musical tastes have gone through almost every genre since then, so I can teach you any style that you like!
