I coach students in vocal stylizing in a variety of genres. I teach students to sing in the right tone, quality, with appropriate ad-libs, riffs and runs to make their voice stand out and shine. I want my students to be versatile and well-rounded, finding "their" voice and being able to fit it into whatever style of music they like all with healthy vocal technique.

Hello, my name is Josh. I am a professional vocal coach, vocal arranger and singer. I teach contemporary and classical voice and basic-intermediate piano. I have a Bachelors of Music in Commercial Music from Azusa Pacific University. I have taught students as young as 5 all the way up to 65. My goal is to challenge my students to grow and improve in their musical excellence and enjoy the music along the way! I am patient, positive and encouraging with my students!

Josh is very patient and focused on the lesson, managed to direct me to the mistakes I make with my voice in a few minutes, I found it very cool and I feel that I will learn a lot from him with each class.

I needed some help prepping for an audition and Josh was such a phenomenal teacher! He gives great instruction and also creates a comfortable environment to practice stage presence. I felt very prepared for those auditions and will be taking more lessons from him in the future!
