    About Josh C.

Hi everyone! My name is Josh and I am an actor, author, and artist currently living in Manhattan. I love working with kids and adults alike and am looking to do whatever I can to help YOU improve on whatever you need help with. I majored in Music Theatre in college and have worked professionally as an actor in multiple capacities. I am also the self-published author of a YA sci-fi novel called CyberWorld: The Legend of Alaxeria, now available as an ebook at Amazon and BN.com. My greatest passions include acting, film, writing, theatre, cooking, photography, singing, literature, traveling, and spending as much time as possible with my friends and family. When it comes to tutoring, there is a broad spectrum of subjects that I feel equipped to teach and teach well: English, writing, essay writing, creative writing, acting, improvisation, actor's repertoire, Music Theatre, acting as a business, character acting, and many more. Additionally, I often operate as an unofficial life coach and creativity coach and am more than willing to apply this to our sessions as well or create entire sessions around one or both of these ideas at your request. I have a very flexible schedule and rates. If you are interested in working with a passionate individual who will give you 110% every time, then I'm your guy! I'm one of those rare few who cares very deeply about what you take out of our time together. I will not waste your time if you do not waste mine. I also expect a lot because I have a lot to offer. I would never continue teaching you if I felt that you were not ready to advance to the next level; likewise, I would not let you settle for anything less than your absolute best work. I am a perfectionist myself and will demand the absolute most out of you in our time together (but don't worry, I'm very friendly!). If you're worried about tutoring being too expensive, don't be, we can talk about it and come up with something that works for both of us. I'm very laid back and want to make this work for you. I also promise that when we do come up with an agreement, I will make every penny count! Other things you should probably know about me include my love for chocolate brownie ice cream and my celebrity obsession with Rachel McAdams. When I'm not penning my latest novel, I'm usually journaling, taking in a film, going over my audition materials, or binge-watching something on Netflix.
