I have a passion for teaching singing. I have a Bachelors in Music in vocal performance from Pacific Lutheran University and a Masters in Music in vocal performance from Washington University in St. Louis.  I love teaching singing and find nothing more rewarding than inspiring a person to learn more about music and improve their craft.  *** Lesson Details *** You can expect a lesson with me to be tailored to your needs as a student. If you are a beginner who would like a solid foundation in classical vocal technique, I can teach you the basics of breath support and registration.  If you want to prepare a piece for an audition, I can coach you in the short term to polish your performance. Want to get into a decent choir? I can work with you one on one to improve your sight-singing ability.  I am very good with music theory but also good with incorporating acting skills into your audition songs.  Just want to sing better?  Not a problem - I believe that anyone can learn to sing and that singing is healthy and good for the soul.  *** Travel Equipment *** Students should ideally have a piano or a keyboard. *** Specialties *** My primary training is in classical voice. My emphasis is breath support and registration. I aim to find a forward resonance through proper vowel placement and releasing of tension.
