Music has been a huge part of my life since I was a little girl. I have been playing the violin for 14 years now and I would love to help others grow in their musical life. I am currently attending the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University working towards my Bachelor of Music degree. Here are some things that I have accomplished. I have been a winner of the Soloist LANSUM International Music Festival Competition. With this, I have performed at the Zipper Hall in the Colburn School. I have also been broadcasted on the KUSC Classical Radio Station with my piano quartet on the Sunday’s Live Program. I am an experienced chamber musician, performing in chamber group recitals while attending the Ed and Mari Edelman Chamber Music Institute at the Colburn School. I served as the concertmaster of the West Ranch High School Chamber Orchestra. Orchestra is a big part of my musical life. I have been a member of the California All-State Orchestra for 5 consecutive years; 2nd violin principal chair. I specialize in mainly classical violin music and I can teach violinists of all levels from beginner, intermediate, or advanced. There is so much beauty and depth in classical music that I would love to share with my students. I believe that parents are the "real" teachers of my students. Because of this, I recommend that the parents of my students understand the material that the student is learning to further help them bloom. I am excited at the prospect of meeting new students and further shaping their musical lives.
