I've been playing guitar for 41 years and bass for 30 years. I've held many seminars for Crate Amps, and a lot of recitals. I've been teaching for 31 years. I've done lots of group lessons at the School of Rock. This was very great experience. I'm currently teach at the Roseville, MI rec center group lessons. I studied with a guitar teacher for a year so I know my theory! *** Lesson Details *** I'm a laid back person love to have fun with lessons and make sure my students have a great experience and learn how to play most styles of music. Depending on the age and level of the student I can teach how to read like book 1 and book 2, but I love teaching chords and scales and how they work together, so you can jam in any situation. After 3 months you should be able to jam with a band and be able to figure out songs, love using tab. Its much more easier for some people than reading music. I love when students tell me what song they want to learn then we talk why it was written and what key it is in and why they used a certain scale for the solo. *** Studio Equipment *** Living room setup for lessons with instruments. Parents can sit it on lessons, and waiting area available. *** Travel Equipment *** I have guitar and amp, students need the same *** Specialties *** Mostly rock, but teach all styles except classical.
