Classical Guitar with Joseph P.

I am a professional guitarist based in Los Angeles, California. I graduated from Pepperdine University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in guitar performance. I am also an experienced audio engineer and song writer. I have had the opportunity to study with many of the greatest classical guitarist in the world. One of my passions is to share the rich tradition of the guitar with my students. I can offer an approach to the guitar that is exciting, musical, free flowing, and rewarding. I encourage my students to study the music that they love. I will be there through the process to help you express your inherent artistry by overcoming technical challenges and by offering a deeper understanding of musicianship, theory, and the artistic process. I have been teaching guitar for 9 years to a wide variety of age groups and musical backgrounds. I am dedicated to fostering my students abilities and meeting their needs. My accomplishments as a performer range from performing concertos with professional orchestras to judging competitions to recording multiple albums. My passion for performing and authentic expression through music drives me to help others achieve their personal musical goals.
