Hey! First off, shout out to you. You have made the extra effort to search for additional help on your studies, what an important step in moving forward with your goals and ambitions. About me: I grew up in Denver, Colorado, later moved to Eugene, Oregon where I attended the University of Oregon and studied Human Physiology. After school I was lucky enough to join Teach for America where I taught middle school and high school Science in two of Chicago's most challenging schools. It was here that I fell in love with teaching. I find that being there for someone to discover their own hidden skills is deeply rewarding. This year I was accepted to Medical School back home in Denver! I am thrilled to be able to move from the classroom to the hospital, but I will miss teaching very much. I look forward to meeting you and telling you more about my life journey, the ups and downs, and the lessons that I have learned about the medical field and working in low-income communities.
