Joseph is a classical Guitar Instructor who has had experience with several guitar students ages 7 and above. He covers everything from theory, technique and performing.

Joseph Gulasarian is a professional guitarist who has trained under well known flamenco/classical guitarists such as Vahagni Turgutyan, Sarkis Turgutyan, and Saro Babikian for over 8 years. Joseph has also performed at various venues and recitals, such as USC, performing art studios and cafes! He makes learning easy and takes step by step procedures to benefit his students the best he can. Making learning fun and enjoyable to all his students.

Joseph is always on time, professional, and most importantly patient when providing instruction. My son really enjoys learning to play the guitar with him.

There are plenty of great musician, but that doesn’t make them a good teacher. Joseph is an incredible instructor. He is dedicated, patient and has a very calm and friendly approach. My 9 year old looks forward to his classes every week, and I honestly, I do too. I really enjoy hearing them practice/ playing their guitars.

Very impressed by Joseph, always calm and respectful. Knows how to really teach without causing too much stress, and always listens to you closely. Guitar skills are on point as you should expect from an instructor and a great teacher as well.

I’m pretty obsessed with Joey. He’s been so helpful and instrumental (ha!) throughout this process, from helping me pick out my guitar to finding extra practice worksheets to send to me outside of our lessons. He is unnaturally patient (seriously, so patient), I don’t feel pressured during our sessions and in fact, I look forward to our time practicing and playing together. Joey is always ready for my many questions, (I know now what a capo is) and has methodical answers that demonstrate his comprehensive knowledge in music theory and playing classical/electrical guitar. He is truly very generous and kind, very supportive and encouraging, which I am sure is already evident from the many positive reviews from students and parents. I am sure he is an amazing mentor to his young students as he is super sweet to his adults who sound like they’re plucking chickens :) 
My only regret is not finding Joey sooner. Taking guitar lessons was a huge step for me, one 20 years in the making, and I’m super thankful to have him as my teacher.

Joseph has been working with my 7 year old son for 3 months now. And to my surprise, in just 2 weeks I saw results. Joseph creates a fun learning environment, pays attention to detail,  and makes learning easy. Thank you for all you do!

Joey is kind, friendly and patient with my son, Alex. Joey has vast musical experience and is an excellent teacher with great skill and enthusiasm. Joe is a wonderful teacher. My daughter is 10 years old and she started taking guitar lessons earlier this year. I’m very pleased with Joe’s knowledge and teaching style. He is a very patient yet thorough instructor. We started with in person lessons but had to revert to On-line.  I wasn’t sure if online classes was going to be as effective as the in person classes but  It’s been working out so far.  I would recommend Joe 100% to students of all ages.

Joseph is very patient and knowledgeable. He has been teaching my 9 year old how to play and from day one, he was excited to have learned how to play and excited to learn more. I highly recommend him for a session.

Joseph is a very knowledgeable and friendly teacher. He is organized and carefully plans for each lesson. My playing techniques improved a lot since I started working with him. He helped me better understand the music I play and think of beyond the technique and hitting the right notes. Thus, I became  more expressive and musical player.

Joseph is a great instructor with a wonderful, upbeat personality and a great deal of knowledge. My daughter is enjoying her guitar lessons and learning quite a bit in a short amount of time. He is highly recommend!
