Broadway Singing with Joseph B.

I am a graduate student and voice teacher at Florida State University in Tallahassee where I teach musical theater and classical undergraduate voice students. I received my bachelors in voice, have 7 years of voice training and choir conducting experience, and have been studying voice for the past 13 years. Students will be trained in proper breathing technique, proper tone placement, how to maximize resonance, and any coaching in German, French, and Italian repertoire as they desire. My goal is for my students to sing with freedom, confidence and expression while helping them experience the joy of singing with their own unique voice. As a singer, my primary focus has been classical and opera singing along with jazz and musical theater on the side. I have performed roles in both opera and musical theater such as Little Women and Handsel and Gretel. My primary passion is classical music, but I believe that classical training basics give a wonderful foundation to any singing style.
