I was the music director for a production of Mary Poppins. As the music director, I was responsible for teaching all the music, making cuts to the music, and planning out all the music rehearsals.

Fat Turtle Theatre Company is a new Indianapolis based community theater company. As a music director, I teach music to the casts for musicals, find and rehearse the pit orchestra, conduct the pit during the show, and fix sound issue. I helped found this company because I wanted to get my hands into the Indy theatre scene

We will learn how to play chords on the ukulele, how to read chord charts, and how to play music that the student loves. We would also focus on strumming patterns and learning how to play and sing at the same time.

Hello there! My name is Joseph. I started music way back in 2005 and have been hooked ever since. I have been singing for 10 years, acting for 9 years, composing and arranging music for 5 years, and playing piano for 4 years along with playing the ukulele, bass guitar, and conducting. I am a musical theatre actor, and I am very active in the Indy music and theatre scene. I believe that, along with learning technique and theory, you must harbor the love for music. I love music and love to share it with people!

Fantastic teacher.  I've had a couple other singing instructors in the past but both with a less-interactive style.  Joseph seems to know how to mold his direction depending on the type of student in front of him, and it really helps.
