I am a CERTIFIED Guitar Teacher with 6 years of experience teaching public school curriculum. I have a degree in guitar and I can teach many musical subjects. I have taught 15 years of private lessons and have grown to create a very personal learning experience for each of my students. I have worked with artists such as: Khalid (Artist), John Karpowich (Producer/Santana), Jamie Merrill (Artist), Mark Saenz (LiK / American Stone), Eric Boseman (Rhianna / Whitney Houston), and many others!

I do NOT teach you HOW to play your favorite songs. Rather, I teach you how to COMPOSE your own music and how to apply techniques to MODERN day situations. We learn how to fit in the mix, improvise in all keys, and working in many different genres of music.

About Jorge S.
Jorge is a versatile musician who has worked alongside some of the industry's top performers. His collaborative work and solo work has reached many audiences throughout the world. Aside from recording in many studios, writing, and performing, he is also an accomplished educator with 5 years experience in public school and 2 years experience in private school. Jorge has also authored his latest book titled "Modern Guitar Workbook" available on Amazon.
Upon completing a degree in music school, he was offered a job as a full-time music teacher and would pursue freelance music on the side. Some collaborations include writing music with Khalid (Artist), John Karpowich (5 Time Grammy-Winning Producer), Mark Saenz (Former LiK and American Stone), Ryan Morales (Local Composer/Producer), Enrique Ponce (Film and Video Game Composer), and many others.

I’ve been playing guitar for about ten years now, but found myself stuck in limbo trying to elevate my playing from simple chords and strumming patterns to more of an intermediate level. Plain and simple: Jorge is an awesome teacher. He tailors lessons specifically to your needs in a very clear and structured way. The guy can also flat out shred! He has an immense knowledge of music and it clearly shows in his explanations of theory and how they pertain to the chords, patterns, and notes That you’ll be playing in your sessions. He's one of the nicest guys you’ll meet and he also seems genuinely excited to be teaching in every single session that we’ve had. I’m 3 sessions in and I have already seen a significant increase the way I play and in the way I learn. I’ll be using Jorge for a long time!
