I have a PhD in French, as well as 6 years teaching experience . I have taught classes at the University level, as well as elementary, middle and high school education. In addition to this, I have also given private lessons in French, English as a Second Language, College Writing and SAT/ACT prep.
I taught both beginning and intermediate French at the college level.
I really enjoy my lessons with Jordin. She is an excellent teacher and very patient.
Jordin is a very responsible and magnificent French teacher.
Three months ago, my son started French for his upcoming freshman school year.
In the first 2 weeks, he was shy because of the complex pronunciations and alien words.
After that, he began speaking to us in simple French phrases and he is very proud of learning French with Jordin.
She never made any excuses to us.
We really need someone like her. A thousand applauds to her!
Jordin is so great! Very fun lessons and great tips, tricks, and homework. Tres fantastique!
I'm preparing for a trip abroad and it's been a very long time since my high school French class. I want to feel comfortable getting around. Jordin has been great at changing the materials as she gets a feel for what I know and don't know and helping me get up to speed in being able to communicate both verbally and written. The classes are always enjoyable, I look forward to my weekly online sessions with her. She keeps it fun and at the right speed.+ Read More

I am a 60 year old learning French for the first time. Jordin possesses all the right qualities to teach. She is smart, patient, experienced, and has an uncanny ability to create a lesson plan that is interesting, motivating and tailored to the learning style of the student. She uses music, pictures, speaking, writing and listening activities - the lessons are fun and informative. I feel supported and encouraged in each lesson. In addition she puts up with my terrible pronunciation!+ Read More
