Songwriting with Jordan T.

My name is Jordan and I have been playing and writing music for about 15 years. I have studied and performed classical guitar, rock, country and blues. While playing the guitar is one passion, writing songs is another. Both of these were studied even further while completing my B.A. at Berklee College of Music in Boston MA. I have played over 150 dates in the last year and have performed in front of more that 3,000 people. I love music, the creative process, and I especially love watching students grow into their own artistry with the techniques we learn in our lessons. *** Lesson Details *** When I teach I like to be honest and relaxed but professional. I let the students make their own decisions about what they want to play and learn, and do my best to provide a logical structure to get them there. When I teach, my goal is that each one of my students has the tools and understanding to most effectively express themselves. There is to be no interference in the translation of the creative universe inside of us to the one on the outside. Each student is a different person and has different priorities; my lessons are tailored to this. Some students need to know how to solo, some need to know how to write songs, and so on. What ever your need, I will get you there. *** Studio Equipment *** amp, two inputs, guitars, music stand, in a bedroom, no bed, 4 bedroom house, chairs, place for parents to wait. *** Travel Equipment *** I provide a guitar for myself, music stand and teaching materials.
