On top of being a professional musician and educator, I am a fun, easy-going, and inspirational person. I come from a family of 6 and used to work as a camp counselor in the summers, so working with kids is my strong suit, I really do enjoy it! I have found in my years of teaching a nice balance of making sure my students stay focused while also making sure they are having a pleasant experience during their lessons. Here is a little bit more about me taken from jordanleicht.com: "Jordan is a Los Angeles-based saxophonist, composer, and bandleader from Thousand Oaks, CA. He has a studio of private students and plays regularly with his group and others in the L.A. area. Jordan has played with many accomplished artists, some of them being Alan Ferber, Eric Marienthal, Elliot Mason, John Daversa, Mark Ferber, Gordon Goodwin, and The Lane 29 Jazz Orchestra among others. He has also performed at venues including the Monterey Jazz Festival, The Blue Whale, The Reno Jazz Festival, L.A.’s Catalina Jazz Club, and various performances with Anthony Strong including a tour of England and the Playboy Jazz Festival at the Hollywood Bowl"

Jordan has been a great teacher! I couldn't have asked for someone more patient and gracious. No matter what my challenges were with learning how to play the Saxaphone, Jordan never made me feel like I couldn't overcome the challenges. I will have to put my lessons on hold for now until further notice as it is not feesible at this point and time. Thank you Jordan!!

I used to play saxophone in high school but hadn't picked it up in over a decade and a few lessons with Jordan gave me my chops back along with a renewed appreciation for the instrument. I look forward to continued growth under Jordan's tutelage. He's a great teacher and inspiration as a musician.
