Students can not only expect to learn the flute, but learn the ways of listening and understanding music.
I am a firm believer that the idea of flute playing is not simply with what you have in your hands (the flute itself), but other experiences you can apply to the flute.
Student of mine will work through a number of method books, etudes, and solo pieces as well as have listening assignments to train their ear.
I am also willing to teach piccolo and all the repertoire involved as well.

My name is Jordan and I love teaching students of all ages on the flute and piccolo (primarily) and would love to find some students in the oceanside and San Diego area.
I am a Marine located on Camp Pendleton and play with the Marine Band and often teach in the area up here. 
My range of what I teach varies from very beginner all the way to Advanced students.

I believe teaching music theory and having the student listen is a very important aspect of me teaching students and I would love to find some people who share the same passion as I do!
