Welcome to Hwangbo Music! I'm a passionate teaching artist with about 7 years of experience, ranging from beginner students to advanced professionals. I'm currently working as an adjunct professor at NYU, teaching music to college students. I'm also a music performance masters student planning on graduating in May. My classes are student-oriented and the lesson plan is adjusted to suit each student in the most productive and enjoyable way. I love music and want others to feel the same passion I have for music. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, acting as a universal language that provides a unique way of empathy and connection in our lives. As a teacher, I like creating a personally tailored repertoire that challenges and explores that specific student's potential and strengths. I value progress and skill-building, but overall, I want my students to be happy and excited about whatever music we're working on!
