I currently teach Guitar, Bass Guitar, Piano, Voice, and Drums. 
Background
BS Music Education (K-12)-  Classical Guitar major-Piano Minor-Voice Minor  -Jazz guitar minor (Vocal Choral and Instrumental Track)

You will find that I am a very well rounded musician with countless performances and musical experience from singing Beethoven's 9th symphony with the Delaware Symphony Orchestra to touring with a serious Christian Rock band that plays both secular rock clubs and churches throughout the east coast.  I have recorded a cd at Indre Studios in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania along with the final mastering at Bradford Sounds.   ("Down to One" is the name of the band)     

Personal Statement
I truly feel that music is a gift from God.   Music can touch the lives of so many people in many ways.  I have used music to serve the Lord and will for the rest of my earthly life.  I am a worship Pastor with 20 + years experience leading a choir and a praise band. 

Teaching style:
I teach with a coaching style acting as a motivator of the joy of music.  I genuinely love music and can't get enough of it.   No longer is it the old school way about a grumpy unhappy time sitting down to practice so that your teacher doesn't get upset.  I encourage students joyfully and use positive reinforcement to obtain the same result.
The turnover rate is very low.  It is rare that a student doesn't stick with me for more than 1 or 2 years.  Many younger students have been with me for 4 or more years.

I have been a worship and Care pastor full time for the past 6 years. I have been a worship pastor for over 20 years.  I have a wide variety of abilities and skills to teach many different instruments. Because of this and because I've LED choir and worship teams for many years I have tons of experience to offer you.   Many students have started on a certain instrument and then later tried something else. Of course they stayed with me because I teach many instruments.
