Hey there! So first off, teaching is my passion and I absolutely love helping students find their own excitement in learning. I am a public school teacher who teaches music in the classroom, so I really know the importance of making lessons fun and engaging. I graduated from Capital University with a bachelors in music, then later with a masters in education. I understand the need to treat each student as a unique learner. I am super patient and make it a priority to find a pace that best fits the student's learning style. As long as the student is making progress, there is no such thing as too fast or too slow! I really like using visuals and media to help the student comprehend the skills needed...this also makes the process fun! I really do well in the contemporary style but can also teach a variety of different genres as well. I look forward to helping you on your learning journey!
