Hi! I'm a Guitarist, Interactive Sound Designer, Audio Engineer, and active musician from Bellevue, WA. To me, working as music instructor fulfills in me that feeling of helping community and sharing sacred knowledge. I'm excited to be part of the takelessons.com team as a means to meet even more talented and aspiring musicians. *** Lesson Details *** I like to tailor my lessons to each individual student, to reflect their individual goals and needs. I generally use the Hal Leonard Guitar method but I'm happy work closely on a variety of curriculum. We'll supplement any methods with songs and exercises that reinforce the subject in a fun way. I like lessons to be laid back and fun, but not without a good, clear challenge. I expect students to do their best and make continued effort. *** Travel Equipment *** I expect students to provide their own guitar and amp if necessary, a music stand, tuner and manuscript book. *** Specialties *** Improvisation, melodic and harmonic progressions, jazz theory and re-harmonization, computer music/recording, Harmonic and Melodic ear training.
