For history and government students: I graduated from UCLA with dual degrees in History and Political Science with college honors. I interned in the US Senate, worked as an election monitor in Sri Lanka, and then as a photojournalist covering wildfires in California and politics in New York City. I'm very well-read and am always up to date on the news. I've completed additional classes in international relations at Standford and UC Berkeley.

I can help students understand the basics of government, US, European, and World History, and also advanced aspects of each subject.

For photography students: I am a professional photographer specializing in photojournalism, portrait, food, and wedding photography. I graduated from UCLA and have worked professionally in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York.

Students can expect to improve week to week in their photography skills. Every photographer has a unique vision; I teach students the technical and real-world approaches to bring that vision to life. I can help any student to photograph with confidence and success.

I teach photography students of all different ages and experience levels. I have 15 years of professional experience. I can teach students to select the right camera settings for any situation and compose their photos for the highest visual interest.

As a professional photographer, I frequently travel to New York and San Francisco for photo shoots. I have photographed events with Michelle Obama and Nancy Reagan. I've worked with high-end restaurants such as Blue Hill at Stone Barns for their food photography. I've photographed alongside firefighters battling wildfires in Southern California. I love to mentor students who want to become effective, creative photographers.

My personal passion is photographing people, but I firmly believe that a great foundation is essential to any and every photographic field. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better photographer!
