Lifelong musician who loves sharing my knowledge of music with others wanting to learn. I grew up playing cello but made the switch to guitar in my teenage years. I've been playing guitar for 15 years now. And picked up mandolin, ukelele, bass, piano, and vocals along the way.
3+ years teaching experience, both private and band lessons.
I have a Bachelor's Degree from Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA and have studied with some of the great guitar/composition/music theory instructors in all of Los Angeles.
I also have 10 years of experience with audio engineering and mixing. I primarily work in Logic Pro these days, but am comfortable with Pro Tools, Ableton, and Reason.
My goal is to teach students what they want to learn at a comfortable pace, while also expanding their understanding of music theory and encouraging ear training.
