My approach to teaching music students is simple yet effective.I take you where you are at in your technical ability and match it up with what kind of music you want to play in the here and now. I am from Philadelphia, and my roots run deep with music. I play rock and roll everywhere from the 1950's all the way up till now. I love playing funk and rhythm and blues, I believe they all tie into one another. *** Lesson Details *** I am a laid back instructor , but I will expect students to go over what we learned in that previous session. I am not a drill sergeant. I am able to connect the dots so it all makes sense. If students have questions they should be asked right on the spot and not to be shy, the goal here is to build a solid foundation to build ff of together. I teach chords, do scale exercise, warm ups before every session are essential to strengthen fingers and hands, then we start learning a couple tunes that the you the student desire.
