Hello There! My name is Jon Sosin and I am offering my services as a private guitar teacher. I am an accomplished session and live performance musician with over 15 years of experience in the professional music business. Since my graduation from the Berklee College of Music (2008), I have had the good fortune to work with some of the top producers, engineers and writers in the Los Angeles area and have recorded and toured nationally and internationally with platinum selling artists. My session work has contributed to a combined 600,000,000+ streams on Spotify as well as platinum-selling singles for major artists, some that even reached #1 on Billboard: Alessia Cara’s “Rooting For You” and “October”, Andy Grammer's "Magazines or Novels", Melissa Etheridge's "This is M.E.", the Meghan Trainor "Spotify Sessions", Rachel Platten's "Wildfire" and others. I have performed on domestic major media platforms including “Late Night with Seth Meyers”, “James Corden’s Late Late Show”, “Ellen”, “Good Morning America” and international media platforms including “This Morning” and “BBC Radio One Live Lounge” and a litany of others. I am also a highly accomplished educator who has placed students at both Cal Arts and USC, and my students have even been featured on national Guitar Center promotional videos and "Good Day Chicago".
