I've worked at studios all over the DMV. Whether its for a Master Class or beginner HipHop. I've worked with studio owners to deliver great performances and develop dancers into better more proficient and technically sound performers. I can provide references if that's required.

I love to teach! I love to share this amazing means of expression with whoever wants to learn and respect it. It doesn't matter what level you're at, we all have to start somewhere and we can always get better. If you are looking for Choreo, HH Fitness or just to get started I'm definitely your guy. Ask as many questions as you like. Ive been teaching for over 15 years. All ages from 7-70. 

A little about me. I started dancing in 2003. I connected with dancers from the DMV which led me to Breakdance practices at College Park, UMBC, JHU and more. As I got better and more skilled local crews began to take notice. I was inducted into The Deadly Venoms Crew "DVC" in 2010. The entire time training as a BBoy i was also learning and picking up other HH styles such as House, Krump and Popping. One was just not enough for me. In 2011 I competed in numerous All-Styles and Top Rock battles Nationally. In 2013 I was a showcase street performer in the production “Working America” and later that year went on to perform on my biggest stage yet, WDSF World games 2013 Kaohsiung, Taiwan (World Dance Sport Federation). I performed at an invitation only audience, made up of peers at the JoJo Diggs event Diggs Deeper. In the last few years I've been in an Under Armor commercial, music video, battle competitions, and performed for all of the mayors in the country and teaching the entire time.

If you want to learn HipHop then you should learn from someone who has not only taught the styles but also understands the Culture. I've traveled the country and the world competing, training and working with some of the best dancers in HipHop. I love to dance but the only thing i love more is helping others learn and hopefully develop the same joy and passion for it that I have.

Nino was warm and encouraging and had a lot to teach my son.

Nino was awesome. I was nervous but felt at ease and comfortable the whole time. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get into hip hop dancing.

Nino is wonderful! My SO and I had no experience in dance, let alone hip hop. Our first lesson with Nino was connective, thorough and so much fun. Very excited for our future lessons to come.

He has been great and super patient with my son.

Nino is PHENOMENAL with my son (7 yo). He has already taught him a ton in just three lessons and my son is really enjoying class. Nino teaches at the perfect level and is incredibly supportive but doesn't let my son mess around. I couldn't be happier with him as a teacher and mentor. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

He’s the best! We’ve had so much fun dancing with him practicing for my upcoming wedding! He’s so upbeat and positive, and patient! We had a blast and will be booking classes with him again! My dad and I both recommend him 100%!

Nino is AMAZING!  He did just the right mix of teaching, watching, coaching and listening and had my little guy (age 8) excited to practice and he "can't wait" for his next lesson!  This wasn't our first try finding a hip hop teacher who was a good fit, but we're so glad to have found Nino!!  He knows his stuff!

Nino is fantastic!!  I have been taking his classes for 4

I’ve took Nino’s FitHop class in Bethesda. That class is amazing for burning calories and you learn actual popular club dances and foundational moves for various hip hop styles. Works for you in the studio & on the street

I’ve been taking classes with Nino for 3 years now and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience.  The class is a perfect blend of dance and cardio.  I have always been impressed that every class feels different.  Though there are some basic moves that he incorporates in every class, the overall routines are forever evolving.  Essentially, his material is fresh and his energy is infectious.  Along with being an incredibly talented dancer and teacher, he is always encouraging, fun, and energetic. I highly recommend him at any level – whether you have two left feet or have lots of swag – he’s able to adapt and adjust to your rhythm.

Jonathan is one of the most genuine and energetic teachers I've ever come across. His smile and energy are infectious and he really knows how to explain things to all skill levels. He's taught my kids several times and they were just enamored. I also took one of his dance fitness classes and it was fun and challenging. You won't be disappointed!

I recently started taking lessons with Nino. As someone who has had issues with confidence and especially how that relates to dance, I’d had negative experiences in the past with other instructors and studios, but this couldn’t be more different. 

Nino immediately made me feel comfortable, his encouraging approach is so empowering. I feel as confident as when I’m dancing alone, but I’m learning a lot. He’s so knowledgeable, when I have specific questions about a move, he explains and demonstrates everything I need to know to execute it in the moment and to apply it later outside the lesson. Couldn’t recommend him more. Great, all around!!!!

Nino is teaching my daughter breakdancing. She’s 5, and the lessons are online, so it could be very difficult with another instructor. But Nino keeps the time really fun while still making sure she understands and can execute the basics. She’s learned more from him in two lessons than she did in 1.5 years of beginners group dance, and she loves it!!!! Thanks Nino!!!! :)

I absolutely love his style. He works with your body's mechanics to help you find your groove and perfect dance techniques. He is incredibly energetic and inspires energy and creativity within you. I ABSOLUTELY recommend him as a teacher!
