Aloha, I love music! And I naturally want to share what I love, so that is why I am open to teaching anyone who has a desire to learn. Music helps us embody a natural state of being as we must become balanced in receptivity and action in order perform it. It is such a joyful act done right. And as we all love music, learning it is fun and challenges us to breakthrough our inhibitions and self-imposed limitations to access our full expression, which will serve us in all endeavors in life. I teach Djembe and Guitar. I grew up influenced by rock genre and now have acquired a great love for indigenous world music- but the genre doesn't really matter- what matters is where whatever you want to play is coming from. I will teach you all the practical skills you need to know on your instruments relevant music theory, rhythm, and perhaps most importantly how to let yourself become a channel for music to come through unimpeded.
