I am a student at Sacramento State University currently pursuing both a BM in Music Education and Music Performance with a concentration in Percussion. I have been playing piano for 10 years and percussion for 8 and have performed in over 100 concerts and festivals as a percussionist. Brand new piano students or ones with very limited experience will find my lessons extremely helpful as I will lay the groundwork for you to continue on your own and become a proficient performer. Brand new to advanced percussionists will find my varied experience to be a great tool as I am extremely proficient in many instruments such as marching and concert snare drum, marimba, vibraphone, hand drums, drum set and many other forms of percussion. It is my goal as an instructor to provide you with the tools you need to continue in your growth without the constant help of a teacher, allowing you to perform music as a lifelong skill.
