As you may have seen in my lesson section, I am a second year juilliard jazz trumpet student who has been teaching classical and jazz to students of all levels for 4 years. I have toured in Italy, France, Switzerland, and this year I played in Brazil for 2 weeks. I have played lead trumpet in all of the top tier student jazz bands throughout high school and am now playing professional in 3 groups that appear in jazz clubs all around the city.
I have had the pleasure of studying with AND play with some amazing trumpet players including Wynton Marsalis, Michael Miller, Mic Gillette, and Bobby Shew, Sean Jones, and Jon Faddis.
As far as personality, I understand that everyone is at a different level when it comes to music and I'm prepared to be patient and continue working with you on something until its right. I would be very excited to work with you and watch you grow on your instrument.
Possibly the best and most competitive audition based jazz camp in the country. A two week intense camp for 42 students run by Wynton Marsalis and other members of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. I went for 2 years straight.
High school big band that is audition based and plays throughout LA for 2 weeks and ends with a performance at the Grammys after party. I got in my last 2 years of high school
Another high school honor jazz orchestra. I participated my junior year of high school and opted out of it my senior year.
