Hello! I'm so excited for you, taking music lessons has been extremely helpful for me to get me to where I wanted to be musically. Here's a quick overview of my background, starting with the most epic! For the last 8 months I've been an apprentice to one of the biggest producer's in the world. It has been a fast and furious tour of the music industry - I've assisted with production and mixing, comped vocals for many A-list singers, and been in sessions with some of the biggest writers in the industry. I've been producing for 9 years. I've been working in Ableton since then so I can help you get working extremely quickly. I'm also quite comfortable in Logic. I specialize in creative sound design using sampling and synthesis. I started DJing weddings 7 years ago, and got a club residency (DJed once a week) at a college bar for two years in undergrad. I've also taken classes on vinyl scratching at the Scratch Academy here in LA. DJing is not only a great way to make money, its also one of the most fun things I've ever done, and I'd love to help you get started. I've been playing piano for 17 years, guitar for 11, singing for 6, and playing bass for 3. Those are also the four areas of recording that I specialize in, especially vocals, and especially pop and dance vocals. About my personality, I'm an extremely patient and kind person! I'm from Michigan and people tell me I still speak like a midwesterner. I'm confident I can help you think differently about music, move past mental blocks, and bring your inner spark of creativity into the world.
