I wake up every morning at 4:30am. Why...because I want to play guitar. After 39 years of playing guitar I have developed an unwavering love for guitar. I strive to be the best player I can be and I know that comes from, not perfection, but striving for it daily. The reward of making my guitar sing is one of the greatest feelings in the world. I do this not for fame or fortune, but because of the passion that drives me to contianully improve. My genre has always been rock. Being rasied on groups like Led Zeppelin, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and other amazing bands with equally amazing guitar players, I have learned to appreciate the creative process needed to compliment the talent. When I instruct you, I want to instill the love for guitar in you as well. Is it always easy? No. Nothing in life that is "worth it" is easy. However, when you reach a pinnacle and realize that you now have earned the right to be called a guitar player and can share music with people, the work is all worth it. I play with a local band and nothing is more gratifying than taking your audience and giving them a few moments of entertainment that removes the stresses of the day we all endure.
