I have over 30 years of experience teaching voice, working with choral groups, voice students as well as classroom music instruction. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Music Education as well as a Masters degree in music from an accredited school of music and have been performing both as a soloist and in vocal performance groups since I was a teenager. I bring to the vocal/music studio all of this experience as well as a heart to pass along this experience to others that desire to share the song that is in their heart. For vocalists my primary goal is to assist anyone who is looking to improve the tonal quality and strength of their singing or speaking voice while reducing vocal tension and voice fatigue. I facilitate singers of any level, age or style who seek to improve breath support, diction, range, tone quality, and ease of singing. This is achieved through a variety of singing exercises, fun vocal drills and creative singing games that we do in lesson time and with instruction on what to do at home.
