Music Theory with John S.

I am a composer and saxophonist living in Brighton, MA. I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Fredonia with a BM in Music Composition, and I am currently pursuing a MM in Composition as a Presidential Scholar at the Longy School of Music. I've been composing for 10 years. I've written in many different styles and mediums using a variety of techniques and am constantly looking to expand my musical horizons. As a member of my new music group, Dive (J:), I've performed in concert halls, cafes, and elementary school cafeterias, spreading my love of music. Each student has different needs and desires. Whether learning to read music, or write in more advanced styles, I am able to meet the student where they are and guide them on the path to love and understand the art and craft of music. I am very passionate about music and learning, and I hope to be able to help you achieve your potential.
