About three months ago, I decided to slow down my touring for a while and joined takelessons to rebuild my teaching studio. All in all I've taught for about seven years, and I went to school here in NYC at Mannes and Juilliard. And as a graduate of one of the two most elite violin studios in the world, I know exactly what fundamentals are necessary for you to enjoy playing the violin every time you pick it up; and in order to make this happen I preview for and review each session. I am very good with children and understand that it is particularly important to win their trust quickly so they can begin to soak in all the material in a fun environment. For older students, I am quick to understand the personal goals of the individual and figure out the most efficient method to achieve their dreams.
