Arrangement and Composition with John R.

Hey how is going new students?! My name is John and I'm looking forward to teaching you music. I started teaching myself how to play piano by ear when I was 15 because I just loved the sound of piano. I moved on to learn drums at 17 and bass in college. I graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelors in Science and played in many shows on campus. Every instrument I've ever played comes from personal choice based on the sound. Being able to read music is a great trait to have, but I want to teach you how to hear music with your inner ear. My class will help you with improvising, recognizing major/minor chords, analyzing a song to play it back within minutes, finding the key of a song, chord inversions, and much more! My lessons are for students who already know their instrument. I also have a studio in Logan Square for recording purposes for all students. Lets start our lessons!
