I am a 36 year-old guitarist and songwriter/producer living in North Dallas with my wife and daughter. We moved to the Dallas area from Los Angeles in early 2017. I would love to help you reach your next goal as a musician! Do you want to learn the basics of guitar? Do you want to expand your chord vocabulary, learn some new strumming or picking techniques? Maybe you'd like some help learning your favorite songs to play and/or sing? Perhaps even write and record your own songs? While able to teach fundamentals of guitar, music theory, ear training, and harmony, etc. I especially enjoy teaching the creative side of the instrument as I have been a songwriter and producer in contemporary styles for 20 years. If you have interest in learning guitar in relation to writing, recording, and production I am fully capable in teaching those advanced subjects as well. In my career as a musician I have received a scholarship to, attended, and graduated from Berklee College of Music with honors in '04 with a degree in Film Scoring and guitar principle. I have also released a self-titled EP as a singer-songwriter/producer, received multiple songwriting awards, and have scored various film projects including a feature film. Guitar and songwriting/composition are my specialized areas of expertise but I also have studied piano, engineering, mixing, and production for multiple years and even a year of vocal study.
