Music Theory with John N.

Vocalist, guitar player, trumpet player, composer, luthier... I've done it all, and have enjoyed every minute of it! I've played in the studio as well as in a touring band, learned theory in college from some amazing teachers, and I love passing on all I've learned to others who can enjoy many of the same experiences. I like to first find out about where you're coming from musically, where you are, what you like to listen to, and what your goals are. From there I'll tailor the sessions to each individual so that we can monitor our progress together and figure out what to work on next. I like to challenge my students to succeed and nudge them outside of their comfort zone while keeping things fun and exciting! After all, it's all about doing what you love! Also, as a luthier, I can help teach a few things about your instrument that some players may not know, and give you some good insight into your next instrument, if you find yourself looking for a better instrument as you progress.
