Hi my name is John. I have a wife and an 8 yr-old son. I have played and loved music my entire life. Music is my life! Anyway, I teach mainly guitar, but enjoy playing and recording many instruments, piano, bass, drums, voice and almost every other stringed instrument. Although I love all music, Rock, Pop, Jazz, R&B and Classical are my favorites. My approach is an emphasis on fun and an individually paced program. I believe every one has a different tipping point where the instrument becomes less of a struggle and more of a joy! My main goal is to find that point and get every student there. This is where playing becomes part of their daily life and happiness, forever!! In addition to performance, I have a fully-equipped, multi-track recording studio and will make it available to any of my students who would like to learn the exciting field of sound production and recording. I have been writing and recording music for radio, tv and film clients for decades and will passing on that experience as well as any techniques necessary in order to master the recorded sound.
