John has been teaching private lessons since 2006 to a wide variety of students; some beginners, others advanced; older and younger. John has helped students reach their personal goals, whether that was just to play a few songs at summer camp or a friend's birthday, or to write and record their own material. John received his Bachelors in Music Performance (Concentration in Classical Guitar) at Truett McConnell in 2011, followed by a Masters in Theology and is currently completing a Masters in Professional Counseling. As an expert, John looks forward to helping new students achieve their goals, whatever they might be. His teaching style is comfortable, personable, but challenging and encouraging.
