Hello, I am very excited to meet you! Born in NJ and now living in NC I've been teaching since 2010. Learning and sharing my knowledge of production, engineering, and songwriting is very enjoyable for me. I have been writing music since as far back as I can remember and in 2010 was privileged to begin the journey of making music a full time career by writing for film and TV, teaching others, and producing and engineering alongside some amazing colleagues. I have been using Logic since version 8 and currently use Logic Pro X and Ableton Live 9 for my own productions. I'm a gentle spirited man who will move at your pace, whether that be the forever victorious tortoise speed or Star Wars warp speed. I believe that learning from a point of interest for the student is very important, so our lessons will not be filled with a bunch of book reading or lessons that may or may not connect with you as a student, but rather I will learn what it is you love and would like to do with your studies and then model the lessons around that. You will certainly be given things to work through and practice, but it will be within an interesting and enticing framework which will not feel like homework. Let's have some fun and make your dreams come true! As an aside, I have more than 16 years of professional experience as an IT technician / Programmer so you can rest assured that technology will not be a roadblock in any way as instruction takes place.
