I like to teach to the students specific needs and goals. From there we can devise a unique lesson plan that is catered toward you, the student. With 20+ years playing guitar, I have experience in several genres including blues, rock, country and folk, jazz, classical, reggae, salsa, and bachata.  I also have a large library of materials to pull from and would not require the purchase of any method books. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to expand your repertoire into new styles of music, I believe I can help you! I have experience giving lessons to both children and adults. I began playing guitar at the age of 7 years old. During my adolescence, I studied with Larry Hoffman, who was taught by the great Dennis Sandole. During my years in the music program at Towson University, I honed my chops and eventually went on to have a successful run performing in New York City for 6 years. I am currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Texas at Austin studying ethnomusicology and focusing on the music of the Dominican Republic.
