Algebra with John B.

I consider myself a teacher, counselor and coach. My passion is to help others suceed not only academically, but in life in general. Growing up and having gone through grade school, I’ve had my fair share of school struggles. This has motivated me to want to teach and help other young minds towards success! I was a substitute teacher for about a year before transitioning Into a counselor role that I am currently in. I graduated from university of Maryland Baltimore County with a degree in biology and sociology. There I developed tutoring experience in subjects such as English, chemistry, biology and specifically algebra. To me, algebra serves as a great math foundation for students going into middle and highschool. Lessons with me will be tailored to meet the learning pace and capacity of the student and be fun and interactive!
