Teaching since 2005

Learn how to play the violin with a proper form, posture, tone, technique, intonation.

I work on establishing strong basics (posture, intonation, tone quality, music reading, listening) regardless of the student's playing level. Many of my beginner-intermediate students have expressed their appreciation for applying the same expectations and standards on them as I do on my advanced-professional students. Everyone has a right to learn how to play the violin with good tone and accurate intonation rather than building up insecure repertoire of way-in-advance pieces. In years to come, working on your strong basics always pays of greatly and accelerates the improvement.
