Greetings prospective student! Thank you for considering to me to teach you what I believe is to be the most beautiful sounding instrument in the world. I have a great passion for classical music played on the double bass and believe that I can inspire you to become a great bass player. I am currently the assistant principal bass in the civic orchestra of Chicago, the training orchestra of the great Chicago Symphony. I am twenty four years old and hope to be performing in a great orchestra very soon as well, in the meantime I would like to teach and share my insights on technique, theory and the mindset a musician needs to be a good performer. I studied with Boston symphony'bassist Benjamin Levy for my undergraduate degree in double bass performance at The Boston Conservatory,and before that I attended the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy in Traverse City Michigan. I have had lessons with some of the worlds greatest bassists and have performed in the U.S, South Africa and Europe.
