Oboe with Joel S.

I was trained at the preparatory department of the Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester with Professor of Oboe, Robert Sprankle. I also studied privately with Ms. Lois Wann. Ms. Wann was an instructor of oboe with Julliard and Manhattan Schools of Music. I've been playing oboe regularly for over 50 years in ensembles ranging from full orchestras to wind quintets. I've played both as an amateur (that is volunteer oboe positions) as well as a professional oboist.
